I like to try and pick a theme for my inktobers each time I’ve attempted the challenge. This might just be me trying to organise things in my head but I find that it helps with deciding what to draw! This years theme is inspired by motifs in traditional Chinese art. I’ve always been drawn to this as it is just so beautiful and detailed but also gives me a sense of connection to my Chinese heritage (Chinese Malaysian).

I didn't end up making it to the end of the challenge but have included a list of all the prompts, incase I even get to the end of the list one day.​The prompts that I have followed this year have been put together by @furrylittlepeac via instagram.
